The energy journey behind Alfen’s experience at the Smarter E.
One brand, one energy system. For The smarter E 2026, Alfen wanted to demonstrate how different energy solutions come together as one integrated system. The challenge: making complex energy technology accessible and showing visitors Alfen’s role in the energy system of tomorrow. Tausch translated this vision into two exhibition stands where technology, brand storytelling and interaction came together.

Follow the energy: Alfen’s exhibition stand concept
The concept follows the journey of energy: from generation and storage to distribution and usage. Landscapes, urban environments and interactive moments made the energy system tangible and easy to understand. Floating clouds and natural elements brought the outside world indoors. This allowed visitors to understand Alfen’s role in the energy landscape even before the conversation started.
Design
Technology in a natural context
Blue brand tones, green gradients and powerful black pillars formed a recognisable visual foundation. Wood, greenery and floating clouds connected the stand to the natural world. Products were given a prominent position within open spaces designed for demonstrations and conversations. The presented scale model connected technology, environment and storytelling into one clear visitor experience.
BUILD
Reusable exhibition stand design
Tausch developed a flexible stand concept that could be adapted to different exhibition formats. Structures and walls were designed modularly and reused for KEY, Flotauto Paris and Solar Solutions later that year. This ensured a consistent brand experience while reducing material use.
