Together for better at Polyclose 2024

Think
Start with a solid exhibition stand
The challenge was to merge two brands, Reynaers and Forster, together for the first time on an exhibition stand. In the design we focused on reinforcing both brands so that each could build on its leading position in the construction market for aluminium and steel solutions. Forster designs and produces high-quality profile systems for doors, windows and facades in steel. Reynaers does the same in aluminium.
Design
Let's keep every door open
Our exhibition design is based on keeping the uniqueness of each brand and connecting those two “worlds” of Forster and Reynaers. The design combines grey and off-white colours, combined with black and materials such as wood and plants and furniture made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. For the flooring, we worked with Interface, a company that makes carbon-neutral carpet.
Manage & Build
No room for weak links
The challenge for us was to process the solid materials in the exhibition design with the intended build and construction options in mind. From an engineering point of view, this presented quite a few technical challenges. The huge 4 m x 1.7 m pivot door that swings open without dragging on the ground is one of the technical solutions that impressed both brands.
“We have a culture where we look at what can be improved next time. And Tausch has that same mindset, which allows us to take a step forward and make every exhibition better.”
