Tanis x Tausch

The 'sweet strategy' behind Tanis’ booth at Interpack 2026

A trade show booth that tastes like Tanis. At Interpack 2026, Tanis wanted to give their target audience a sense of what has made them strong for three generations: their technical expertise, genuine commitment, and love for confectionery. The exhibition stand was designed to welcome manufacturers, spark ideas, and demonstrate how Tanis acts as a partner, contributing ideas from recipe to production line. Our role: to bring that character to life in the space.

Think

From a family story to a visitor trail

Tanis is technically strong, but just as personal. That was exactly where the concept began. We advised Tanis not to let the trade show booth start with machines, but with connection. From the Tanis Café, visitors moved further into the world of confectionery technology: past demonstrations, the Ask the Expert Zone and eventually up to the upper floor for more in-depth conversations. The walkway strengthened that route, creating both overview and momentum. The Tanis Teddy added a subtle layer of storytelling: a recognizable detail that connected joy, precision and pride throughout the concept.

Design

Design with a sweet twist

As a stand-building partner, we looked beyond form. Our focus was on how visitors would understand Tanis’ technology. Machines were positioned with deliberate sightlines, signage added context to key process steps and digital touchpoints invited visitors to discover flavours, colours and textures. On the LED wall, the X-ray effect revealed what normally stays hidden: candy moving through the machine and passing through the production process step by step. This made complex confectionery technology accessible, without simplifying Tanis’ technical strength.

Manage & Build

A carefully orchestrated trade show booth

In the realisation, hospitality, machines, meeting rooms and interactive elements all came together. The absolute eye-catcher was the largest gummy bear artwork ever created, measuring no less than 5.5 by 6.5 metres. Due to its size, weight and vulnerability, this required careful preparation, specialist handling and the utmost precision during transport and installation. We integrated the world record not only safely into the stand, but also strategically into the sightlines and visitor route.

“All our competitors are very jealous of what we have built. Everyone has come by to take a look and as a marketing manager, I couldn’t receive a bigger compliment.”
